  • Condition: In the photos, it shows how it was originally together and could be folded. This one has fallen apart, so each piece is now separated. It stills holds some of the original items. Seven shiny, round, black topped hat pins, in various sizes. Black and silver colored sewing pins. Some long needles, and one very tiny ended crochet hook. The package is made out of a very light weight cardboard, with different, unique pictures on each one. The colors are faded to what they once was, and some tears in them.

    Description

    Rare Eclipse Handy Pack Package by Brabant's Handy Package Series, dated August 13, 1895. In the photos, it shows how it was originally together and could be folded. This one has fallen apart, so each piece is now separated. It stills holds some of the original items. Seven shiny, round, black topped hat pins, in various sizes. Black and silver colored sewing pins. Some long needles, and one very tiny ended crochet hook. The package is made out of a very light weight cardboard, with different, unique pictures on each one. Wonderful art work, although the colors are faded to what they once was, and some tears in them. I've only been able to find two that is similar to these. One is at the New York Historical Society, and the other on Worthpoint, which has been sold. It's a pretty neat keepsake from the past. So it is a very rare find.
