    Description

    Antique Victorian handmade miniature parasol with hidden needle case. Pre-1900. Genuine carved bone crochet hook serves as handle. Parasol fabric is off-white tan silk brocade lined with matching silk. Long sewing needles visible when parasol opened up represent spokes of umbrella. Matching 3/16" wide silk ribbon threaded through embroidered loops allows parasol to be pulled shut. Ecru lace trim around bottom edge. Ecru lace eyelet flower at top of parasol. Exterior silk fabric is frayed in areas due to natural disintigration process of silk over time. Handle with care.
