Antique Victorian SEWING EGG THIMBLE CASE
Fob Necklace Gold Needle Pendant 1800s
This is a Victorian thimble holder or sewing or needle case containing a golden thimble with some kind of thread cutter attached to it. I believe the case is made of pressed brass, and I'm not sure if the thimble might be gold filled. The thimble has words on it; I think patent information maybe, but I did not read it carefully.
The case is egg-shaped with attachment points for a chain. A measuring stick is shown in 2 photos. Please see photos carefully for condition, as this is an antique. Some of the surface printing is worn, and it has other surface wear. Shipping includes insurance. The last photo shows a German needle case for sale in my shop.
