Antique Vintage ELLIPTIC SEWING MACHINES advertising wood needle case.  The needle case measures 2 5/8 inches tall, it opens up in the middle.  The top piece has 2 tight hairlines in the wood as pictured.  The very top is brass and signed - ELLIPTIC SEWING SEWING MACHINES.
