Description

This uncirculated 10 Bahamian dollar note is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Central Bank of the Bahamas. It is a navy-blue note that is dated 2022, bears the signature of John A. Rolle, and measures 156 mm x 67 mm. Its obverse side features the bust of Sir Stafford Sands, an elder yellow flower (Tecoma stans), the map of the Bahamas, and a color changing butterfly. Its reverse side is vertically oriented and shows the Elbow Reef Lighthouse, flamingoes (Phoenicopteridae sp.), and the national coat of arms. Security features include a solid security thread with a demetallized 10 and bank logo, a see-through feature, and a watermark of Stafford L. Sands with an electrotype . Additionally, the note is made of a hybrid substrate.
